Welcome to the Tech Forum. This is the spot for all discussions on electronics and technology.
The same rules as any other forum applies. Especially pertinent are the following:
* Posts and topics pertaining to any type of illegal ways of obatining music, software, hardware, games or anything technological related is strictly prohibited from being posted. Freeware is welcome. Torrents or any type of file / seed sharing is not.
* Members making irrelevant posts to thread topics will be flagged as 'post-whoring' and warned. (ie. Topic states: 'Graphic driver issue' / Reply: What kind of power supply is that?) Abuse of breaking this rule will result in suspension of account. Quoting posts without adding anything, "co-sign," or simply posting emoticons IS considered "postwhoring."
* Multiple threads of the same topics will be seen as 're-posts' and locked immediately. Please, if possible use the search function to find like-threads. If a thead is outdated a moderator will lock it and members will revert to the new thread.
* Gravedigging or bringing up dead threads with irrelavent posts will result in deletion of posts and locking of thread.
* Be sure to quote sources on all articles posted, and note if something is a rumor or not.
Subjects that belong in the Tech Forum include:
* Video games
* Video game consoles
* Computers
* Software and computer questions
* Cell phones and plans
* New technologies
Subjects that belong in the Automotive, TV and Movies, Art and Photography or Lounge include:
* Cars
* TV show and Movie discussion
* Camera/lenses/strobing equipment belongs to photography thread
* Watches
* Anything not related to electronics, technology. If it runs on a battery or plugs into an outlet, it probably belongs in the Tech forum.
