Upcoming & Original Artists 2.0:
Link to the previous thread.
Welcome to the new home of The Upcoming Original Artists Thread! Just like the previous thread, Members are encouraged to post Songs, Albums, Videos, Sites & Links to your own personal music, or music of an artist you may know.
Rules:
Though criticism / critiquing is highly encouraged, flaming and blatant disrespect is not allowed, and will be dealt with accordingly.
Do not freestlyle battle in here, there is an appropriate thread for battle rappers, and producers.
OMGitsjihaD / Gutta Boyz (G.B.M.)

Age:
27 (Shelliano Da Great) - OMGitsjihaD
22 (Spade Da Magnificent)
27 (Chuck Book)
19 (Cas Pesci)
Hometown:
Yeadon, Pa (Y.T.N/Young Thorough n*ggas)
Shelliano, York City/ Da Creek (everyone else)
Genre(s):
PA Hip-Hop
Influence(s):
Lox/D-Block, Beanie Sigel, Notorious B.I.G, Major Figgas, Reef Da Lost Cauze, Black Thought, Big Punisher, G-Unit, Cassidy, East Coast Music in General; Three-Six Mafia
Sounds Like:
Everybody is different; Chuck Book is probably the overall nicest; Spade comes with best punchlines, Cas is swag, and I am the energy of the group; If you had to compare us, Chuck Book= Jadakiss + Black Thought, Spade= Cassidy + Gillie Da Kid, Cas= Lloyd Banks + Lil Wayne, and Shelliano= Styles P + Tony Yayo.
Who would you like to work with?
D-Block definitely, Meek Mill (Grand Hustle Artist signed outta Philly) Sigel, State Property, Cam'ron, G-Unit, Nipsey Hu$$le (personal), Cassidy (this will probably happen; our producer is Krossover Ent.'s personal engineer), or anybody who is down to collaborate; We trying to make music, not bullshit.
What are some of your goals as an artist in the near-future?
Our main professional goals are to sustain ourselves with our music; we have been successful making money as individuals (me as a promoter/ manager, Book and Spade releasing local projects). We are now maximizing our resources, which is what G.B.M is; We are looking to put out our first group project, G.B.M- George Bush Money in December, followed by the solo project of another rapper working with us, Big V Da Badguy. After that, We are dropping solo projects from Chuck Book (My Book of Rhymes), Spade (Untitled), and myself (Da Crook Wit a Degree). Creating numbers via our projects is the goal; We have two independent options on the table; our goal is to prove that we deserve the best numbers possible based on grind and work ethic.
Where can we stay updated on your music / projects?
We are putting together the Official G.B.M Myspace & Website, but you can check out some of our music:
Gutta Boyz
Mary Jane
Get Down
I'm From Where
Hop Over Me
Da Creek

I'm going to give all three a listen now.
Edit: It won't play. _________________

I can't put my finger on it, but you sound like a Will Smith x _______ rapper combo. Flow is on point also. _________________

Summertime flow son. But Jvee is good though. You need establish your vocals on the track more, just a little louder. _________________

Nowadays I don't have such a big influence as I had back in the days and I don't know what I should rap/write about. Plus the fact that I can't rhyme in German (and I don't listen to German rap on the regular) and my English isn't as good as it should be doesn't make it any better for me to lay down some deep-ass lyrics. I don't wanna write/rap about fucking bitches, smoking weed and shit like that all the time, you know what I mean? But since I love rapping I can't make myself stop doing it, that's why I made this EP.
Maybe I need someone who'll battle me to get upset. Do you rap? Then please listen to my shit on LimeLinx and diss me. Yeah, that should make me wanna record a reply and get me busy again
PS here's the shit I've posted on TN:
First off: I know this shouldn't been done but I did it!
See, I'm a lil' "aged" now and quit rapping approximately 10 years ago. But the night I've recorded this I was just hanging around with a friend of mine, drinking and smoking and shit and we was playing around with my computer and my "music equipment" (if you can call it that).
At the end of the night we probably recorded about 20 songs and since I was drunk as hell I was just playing around and recorded plenty of 'Pac songs. It was straight fun! Some had to be sorted out cause of mumbling and text-errors but some sounded well.
So, please don't flame me for biting 'Pac cause that's not my motivation. Don't take it too serious at all, I just want to share it with you. (And maybe you can tell me something about my rapping skills, I would appreciate that.)
R U Still Down? - Since the original instrumental ain't available (Makgame?) I chose an UGK beat.
R U Still Down? (RMX) - The same song but with Outkast's "Sole Sunday" beat.
This Ain't Livin' - Just another track using an UGK beat again.
So Many Tears - The first record I've recorded that night.
Happy Home - Some experimental stuff. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't
Hold On Be Strong (RMX) - I made this remix since the original recording sounded kinda boring
Betta Dayz (RMX) - The original recording sounded kinda boring too
Dear Mama - Since the original instrumental doesn't contain the sung chorus, I had to do it by myself...
Oh, and for the few German speakers here I've got a song I wrote 10 years ago. I've recorded it again in that night
Grass Day - I don't remember which beat it was, but it's from Low Profile records.
Grass Day (RMX) - I made this beat in 2002! |

Yeah, I knew Americans would like my German song
What's up everyone? Hope you like "my" shit.
Just for your information: I'm 28 years old and I'm from Ruhr-Area, Germany.
I found this board while searching for 2Pac related stuff, saw the 'Pac thread and registered.
And now I ended up on the "upcoming artists" thread, thanks to AJTF23!
@Jvee023: Respect man, keep up the good work How long do you write/rap?
I've heard alot of so called "upcoming rappers" who sounded like "blablablah" (you know what I mean?) but you got talent, you made me listen!
