Breathability of these is great.
BUT - my prob with the show is that the materials stretch after the 1st few wearings, and was difficult for me to get that solid lockdown feeling. This led to a alot of movement in the shoe for me. I play 2 guard, so I'm always moving, and I need a shoe that is my feet.
The cushioning wore down for me a bit too, and was a lil too mushy of a ride for me on the court. _________________

I'll be back to drop off a few of my short reviews..
big fan of Foamposites and Flightposites and a few LEbrons, anything with Foamposite technology in it.. so if anyone has questions on these i can probably answer them. |
i have some problem with the lebron v,everytime i cut hard my toe hurt(not only pinky toe),i play in them for like a week already, the problem still hasn't slove and it's gotten worse, should i keep play in them to "broke in them" or should i go for a new shoe???now i'm looking for a pair of flightposite, would i have the same problem??thanks for your time |
I think the hurting of your toes is because of the edge of the posite-nose cutting into your fore-foot(or toes, depending on sizing), I don't know if it can be fixed, I have the same problem, and still haven't figured out a way to fix it, Flightposite's won't have that problem, because they're one piece, and a lot softer than the LeBron V's. |
yea, that's what i think too, thanks for the help _________________ Lakers 2009 NBA CHAMPS. I KNOW HOW TRBO823's ASS TASTE. PM ME FOR DETAILS.

i wouldn't go with any of thte zoom bbs for outdoors.
they wont hold up as long on an outside court...
but definitely one of the best shoes nike has put out
SendHelp I think with your size the BBs would work great for you
I'm 5'5 135 lol and have 3 pairs of the 1s and 2 of the II lows...
Also the Powermax isn't bad at all, definitely a comfortable shoe _________________ Oregon Heads check it out: http://eugene.craigslist.org/clo/1112146498.html

So, I've worn my second pair of BB1's to the ground and really need to get me a new pair of shoes.
I'm 6"3, 190lbs and play SG but drive a lot as well. I really like lightweight shoes with a low-to-ground feel, but never got around to buy a pair of Hyperdunks.
The durability issue really bothers me as I'm not that fond of having a rotation when it comes to basketball shoes - I wanna keep it to one pair of shoes.
Anyways, I'm thinking of getting a pair of the Huarache 08's - what do you guys think of that?
Is the Huarache 08's somewhat similar to BB1's when it comes to cushioning, weight, feel.. ?
Thanks in advance. _________________ Looking for AM1 co.jp "Cave", US11

I have the 08s and love them.
they aren't as soft as the BB1s
but they are still responsive
they are super lightweight
to me they feel lighter than the bb1s _________________ Oregon Heads check it out: http://eugene.craigslist.org/clo/1112146498.html

okay just an update for all you hyperdunk lovers..
I recently bought a pair of puerto rico hyperdunks and have played about 10 hours total with drills and alot of full court games (run and gun style btw). Anyway, ankle support is good and flywire holds up but the rumors are true...LUNAR FOAM DOES NOT, I REPEAT, DOES NOT HOLD UP AT ALL. In the beginning i could tell the foam was definitely not as good as zoom air. There just wasnt that feeling that i was getting energy returned back to me when i ran. After a while i felt alot more tired than usual and every step i took began to drain me. I know it sounds exageratted but i just got back from 5 hours of full court drills and scrimmages and i am just dead. I definietly would go with huaraches or some lebrons if you put cushioning as a priority in your shoe. I mean i pretty much bought my hd's coz the pr's look pretty darn nice. I have a pair of huaraches that i want to switch insoles with my hyperdunks. I mean if you like that low to the ground feel then go for hyperdunks but i am definetly staying away from anything nike tries to throw at me with their lunar foam. _________________ HUNDREDS X DISNEY TEES AND SLEEP TECH NF sz L

Anyone have a list of favorite performance sneakers from 2008? I'm trying to think of a top ten right now but I'm having some difficulty. It's not as strong a year as 2007 was. _________________ Looking for the following in size 9.5 or 10:

The TS Commander are great, it has great support, and excellent heel traction(it really anchors you to the court), so nobody will just slide you out of the way when fighting for position. |

Being a Foamposite based shoe, or Phyposite to be more technically specific. The hurt your toe is feeling from hard cuts may be from the snug fit of foamposite technology. Remember its MADE to fit your foot like a natural glove. think of it as protection, like a second layer of skin. To some this is to restricting but its for good reason. IF you bought them true to size there shouldn't be any sliding or anything inside the shoe during hard cuts, but there shouldnt be any pain either. perhaps a half size up will do you good. I would advise you wear them in true to size.
Don't know if you would have the same problem with Flightposites though, as theyre basically the same on the inside, i cant tell what you toe issue is, perhaps the size issue but i cant say.
Break em in, wear em out _________________
