However, is there is there a shoe that has similar performance specs on the market today? Because I'm going to have to expand my rotation someday. |
Actually The Six is similar in many ways. I would recommend to try them out. The only major issue I've experienced were some difficulties with tying them really tight. Also, traction could be better, but the II's have some problems in that department as well. Other than that you won't find a pair of shoes on the market right now more comfortable then the ZLVI. |

^Second that, but my feet don't feel tight in em.
I just went a half size bigger and they're perfect.
And yea,you won't find a more comfy shoe than the VI's.
The thick insoles and the double stacked zoom air units
are just making my feet feel like they're walkin on the sky _________________

i did buy the VI at last
i go half size bigger , and while the "proturding" back heel problem wasnt' completly eliminated, but it doesnt bother me much than the usual size i use.
agree that it seems hard to tied it tight.
and the while the shoe feel very stable, i feel that the ankle support could be better.
traction is also not that great, no usual "cit cit " sound when you make a cut with any other shoes on hard wood indoor court.
haven't really try them seriously, i'll post more when i've done it.
but so far it's ok,
i really like the design, subtle yet stunning.
i've tried the XX3 but my pinky don't like it
anyway the best basket ball shoes i've ever tried is VCIII and jordan XI and jordan IX respectevely.
still searching for my perfect shoes, but in the meanwhile i'll be ballin in my new ZLB VI |

I don't think going half size up with the VI is such a good idea (for basketball). I have both 10 and 10.5 with 10 being my true size and I can't imagine balling in the bigger one. It's hard to get them to lockdown your feet as it is, and the bigger size is more difficult to tie properly. _________________

Hey, I was looking for a review on the Penny III's. How is the fit? Quality? Cushioning? Durability? Thanks. _________________ "We are the People We Have Been Waiting For"-Barack Obama |

hmm i dont quite agree cause i normally use my VCII jordan IX and XI on size 10.5
then i get ZLB VI 10.5 , while it can fit, but maybe because of the thick inner padding, it doesnt feel to comfortable, and like i said before , those low heel cup is kind of poking to my heel so much, so i tried half size bigger, and it feel much more comfortable,
as the unable to tie tight issue, i found a good solution for it, wear ankle support |

I need help.
I want to find out the BEST basketball shoe that breathes, yes breathes.... simply because, in Jordan's, my feet get really hot - and the shoe doesn't breathe.
What's a basketball shoe that breathes a lot? _________________ HK Army |

If you want performance with it too you can't go wrong with the 20-5-5's
I can feel the wind blowing when I'm outside |

Are they quite heavy? I always found Lebron's shoes kind of heavy.
What do you think? _________________ HK Army |

I have an answer for you on that as well, LOL:

They are not the lightest, but they really do feel great on court. I'd say they're normal in terms of weight. Still my favorite basketball sneaker ever!!! For me there's no better. If you can find a pair don't hesitate. You'll simply love them. |

Thanks for the advice you guys, the VI's do seem to be a solid shoe...and I'm a sucker for double-staked Zoom Air based shoes (ex: Jordan XIX).
I'll probably get the triple blacks sometime in the summer. _________________

I'll be back to drop off a few of my short reviews..
big fan of Foamposites and Flightposites and a few LEbrons, anything with Foamposite technology in it.. so if anyone has questions on these i can probably answer them. |
i have some problem with the lebron v,everytime i cut hard my toe hurt(not only pinky toe),i play in them for like a week already, the problem still hasn't slove and it's gotten worse, should i keep play in them to "broke in them" or should i go for a new shoe???now i'm looking for a pair of flightposite, would i have the same problem??thanks for your time |
I think the hurting of your toes is because of the edge of the posite-nose cutting into your fore-foot(or toes, depending on sizing), I don't know if it can be fixed, I have the same problem, and still haven't figured out a way to fix it, Flightposite's won't have that problem, because they're one piece, and a lot softer than the LeBron V's. |
