Which Lebron shoe is honestly better performance wise the 5, 6 or the 7? i have all three but cant decide.
I am a guard 6'1 245lbs a shooter, hits the post does a little of everything. I need ankle support and good cushioning cause of a sore knee If you could rate them also i would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I got a 2-way answer, the cushioning is definitely best on the 7, and at 245lbs(I'm same weight) the cushioning should be active right away, and it's more cushioning than the 5 or 6, and also a little more stable(IMO it's as advertised, a breakthrough in Nike bigs cushioning), the instep is really flat though, so I slipped in an insole to raise the arch a little. The ankle part is slightly weird, I think LeBron has has really straight ankles, because it hardly cups back over your Achilles, which could leave some slack. And they fit slightly big(because it's a pretty empty shoe), for a lot of guys enough to size down .5 size(for me there's not a lot of extra length in 'em though), you could also do some things like slide in an extra insole, or double-sock, to close the fit.
For ankle support, and fit, I'd definitely say the 5's are best, because the heel does cup back over your Achilles, and the fit is much closer to my feet. The cushioning is alright, but slightly on the light side for me personally.

So basketball season is here but prior to that I've been looking for a good shoe to ball in for this season but to no avail really. I guess I'm picky when it comes to settling on a pair. Basically needs to be a good-looking shoe off and on, durable, very comfortable, and not to tight. So far I tried the CP3.II because it was given a glowing review on the SC blog, but after 3 wears I didn't really like them that much. I don't know what the break-in time is, but they felt off. I went back to my Wade 1's but now they're too beat and now using Playoff VIII Retros which are actually pretty good, but I need to sell while they're still in good condition for the money.

Now I just need to settle on a pair to beat up on the rest of the season. Just good on and off the court and durable. I know Kobe's get alotta good reviews but I hate Kobe and I couldn't stand to get his kicks. I was thinking of waiting for Wade 1's again but I realize the sole is too flat, no arch for the foot and figured there's better shoes by now. Also thought about waitin' for Wade's sig to come out on JB but who knows when that'll be. Also read on the comments of the SC blog for the Alpha Air Jordan 1 about playing in those...they look good but how much will the update effect how they play. Just to note I'm 5'10"/175lbs but I'm in the paint alot. Any suggestions would help, thanks y'all.

honestly if you are are wanting good cheap basketball shoes the Nike BB 1 2 or 3 is a great choice. They are one of the best basketball shoes for the money with full length zoom, ankle support, and long lasting very nice traction. you can probably find BB 2s for pretty cheap now, BB 1s are probably hard to find and BB 3s aren't available in the US yet.

they are not flashy or eye catching by any means but not ugly at the same time. They chose fundamentals over style for these and they work perfect as basketball shoes

I see what your sayin' but money isn't that big of an issue as far as basketball shoes for me. Only reason I said I had to sell my VIII's was I just don't like to associate any numbered jordans with basketball because people are always looking to buy j's. And I'm willing to pay more if they perform good but look just as well. From what I've seen BB's are ok but they just look too generic if you know what I mean. thanks for the response tho

@ Kage, the Alpha Jordan 1's should be an alright choice, if the upper's firm enough, and the Zoom update will basically make 'em feel more friendly to the younger guys(that haven't grown up on the basic foam soles).

And if you're looking for a good lookin not too tight Nike/Jordan, the FlightClubs are really nice, and I personally really like the look of the Jordan Schoolin', or 16.5's(semi-numbered J's Razz ) I don't know how they perform though.

^ I'd go Hyperdunk, the Hyperize loose out in every head-2-head review I seen so far.

But don't the Melo M6 have the same setup as the CP3.II?

They run a little large, so you might wanna go down .5 size.

^ Nene is right--the special M6 website (http://www.nike.com/jumpman23/m6/) says "dual density injected phylon increases comfort in the heel, while forefoot zoom air allows for quicker rebounding response."

So I need a shoe for basketball season coming up and I'm pretty intent on getting a pair of kobes...

BUT I dunno if I should just get the IV's now or wait until the V's come out? And there's no garuntee that the V's will be better than the IV's, so I'm really torn. Help?

Currently I'm balling in pro models, and there will be a team shoe that I'll have to buy. I'm 5'7, 130 pounds, play point guard and shooting guard...Help?
