from my previous knowledge, theres nothing you can really do about that but try and dye it grey again. it might be hard to match that shade tho. it looks as if its yellowed.

Im hoping someone knows how to clean cross stitching......

Example :
The "23" stitched on the sides of the AJV's or the Jumpman Stitched on to the AJIII's tongue. The red color doesn't look vibrant anymore looks a little dull, maybe stained by jeans resting on it. I've tried just some soap and cold water and let it sit but that didn't help much and being that its cross stitched I know scrubbing is out of the question.

Any suggestions?

try some detergent instead of soap,(it usually is stronger)and scrubbing lightly with a soft brissled toothbrush should do the trick, and warm water. just keep scrubbing for a few minutes in circular motions, but remember to do it lightly.

Ok this worked well the color came back some what.....But now I have a darker colored ring around the area the Jumpman was in I guess from the left over water. Will this dry back to the regular color or stay a shade darker? I am working on Original Shadow X's and the back Jumpman was discolored so the material is nubuck suede, I think.

these happened to my best friends og hares... your better off sole swapping, because it looks like it rotted, and the air bubbles collapsed... even if you glue them back its just gonna keep happening and happening.

it may go away by its own, if it dosen't, try blowdrying over the area with a blowdryer. or, if you want to renew the suede's color and texture, use some baby oil on them.that dark spot would also blend in if it dosen't go away. Thumbs Up

The olive portion of the olive 9 has a paint scuff. Can that be redyed solely to look as it did before and are there any restorers in New York that can do that? I'm currently looking for the dye myself but not too sure how to go about doing it.

edit..http://turtlefeathers.net/text/angelus/dye.html

To match the olive color I looked. I'm thinking brandy or spice brown to match but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

The mesh part of the tongue on my taxi 12 is pretty dirty. Ive tried soap and water with a rag and toothbrush and washing machine with oxyclean. Any other ways to try cleaning it?
Also there are scuffs on the toebox but I don't have access to angelus right now. What would be a good substitute to use?
