Peer Guardian is a very good firewall program easy to use and free.
and has a beta version for vista users.

Good post. This should be very helpful to people who are unfamiliar with anti viruses.
I'm currently using kapsersky. IMO its really good. It doesn't lag me at all during virus scans even when I'm playing games.
AVG is a really good free anti virus too.

AVG has not let me down at all.
i use it for myself, at work and any of my clients who need a anti virus
Kaspersky i had some trouble with

What can remove a trojan virus? My computer detected a trojan file as a threat I don't know how to remove it. never mind.
