the zkv looks decent...i love the zkiv...as per the colorways it is kinda cool nike is giving som many colorways to the this particular model. i like it but..do not know why you release a "bred" colorway but whatever.. 3 colorways and a few limiteds would be more than fine.. i agree with sarteaga...we do not need 12 colorways like the bron line but a few colorways for a choice for us fans is fine and a few limiteds is pretty cool too i guess...shows how much a demand the line is now...gve us a box nike! |
they release a bred colorwayw becuse bred coloways sell more than any other colorway . imo the inlines beat the bred kobe ivs

All around, I think Nike did a great job with the V. I was really impressed with the IV and figured I wouldn't see anything for a while that would meet the standards of the IV. But boy was I wrong. Way to go with another great Kobe shoe guys! Can't wait to see the final product. _________________

| I really like the IV's, don't know about these though, the first picture looks too much like a running shoe. |

A specific box would not increase the price point significantly. Also lets look at the Lebron line, his shoes tend to sit until they go on sale, they have a box, tell me how Nike is able to afford to sell the shoe with a box at $99.99 when on sale at a local store? Because the box isn't that much in terms of cost per shoe. Wouldn't it be smart to have packaged the ZKIV in its own box, especially when they are flying off shelves at retail...they wouldnt have lost a dime and technically would have made more $ as the shoe is selling at retail and not at a discounted price.
I agree with the zoom as well...but hell I'd pay an extra $10 for a box and zoom. Nike isn't kidding anyone, this doesn't cost an arm and a leg to implement. It's just laziness, disrespect towards the consumer (at least the kobe-head), the player (word is kobe wants a box) and a way to cut costs in order to add $ in to nike's pockets. Tell me how out of these 3 premiere athlete's, MJ, LeBron and Kobe that Nike has had, that MJ and LeBron have a box and Kobe doesn't? Can someone, anyone justify that for me? I think not. |
Wouldn't you say that if the shoe is really good enough, that nobody'd really care what kind of box it came in? It could come in paper bag, and then be a great shoe! _________________ Well dressed Gentlemen do not carry grudges |

Own box? Shiet!!! That will cut down on Nike's Profit. Instead of making 300% profit on a pair of Kobe shoes, they'll make 299.999% by making a box for Kobe...lol _________________

From the pic on page 1 I'm liking the shoe already If it's as light and performs as well as the ZKIV it's gonna be another instant CLASSIC!!! _________________ ...::: T E A M H O U S T O N :::...

I really like where NIke is heading with the Kobes.
One of the big positive aspects is that it is a low-cut.
I never understood, why ppl only ball in mids or highs since most injjurys happen with them as well with all the forces that come to effect when you flip your ankle.
Adidas started it great with the Arenas Gil-0 and continued it with the Gil-20.
Now Nike picks it up and merges it with theyr techs.
My dreams come true!
On the Box:
Keep the Orange box; who need a fkin black or whatever Box!
They are only for storage anyways.
Lunafoam is ok to me as well. its damn light
So if you guys at Nike think its good, keep it.
P.s.:
Send me some Weartests or so D: _________________ Midnight Blue L.A.R.K. |

I really like the fact that these are low tops. I've played in lows since high school and IMO they help me cut a lot faster.
Really looking forward to these. |

Seeing that the forefoot is a lot wider I hope they model the shoe like J-Kidd's AZF-V.. get rid of the Lunar and go with the Zoom.
I like the direction that the V is going so far. _________________

| I'm pretty sure they'll keep the lunar foam, unless they can find something lighter, Yeah it creases more but, the design of the shoe is basketball and not casual wear. Yes I enjoy wearing them casually but, like I said the shoe is going to take function over form. If they add that inner boot it will be awesome |
