simple black box with his logo is enough. The shame is Nike has gone far enough to PRODUCE sample boxes for each of his last 4 shoes but didn't bother to carry it out. It's only a cost of $3-4 per shoe to add a box. They can STILL price the shoe at $120/125 with a box. _________________ *There will only be one Jordan, but there will also be one Kobe and one Lebron.*

I'd prolly cop just 'cause I like the IV's so much. I like the idea of the full boot too; they'd feel like my ACG's I love wearing.
Also, I agree with KOBE HAVING HIS OWN BOX. It's sad when I line my ZKIVs with my ZKIV IDs. The ID boxes are pretty sick. I guess that's part of the price difference _________________ WTB: ZKIV MLK, Venom, Finals Home, Finals Away sz. 10

Specific boxes are more costly than you'd think and I'd MUCH rather they use that $ and upgrade to Zoom instead of Lunar in the forefoot... _________________ FOLLOW SOLE COLLECTOR ON TWITTER

A specific box would not increase the price point significantly. Also lets look at the Lebron line, his shoes tend to sit until they go on sale, they have a box, tell me how Nike is able to afford to sell the shoe with a box at $99.99 when on sale at a local store? Because the box isn't that much in terms of cost per shoe. Wouldn't it be smart to have packaged the ZKIV in its own box, especially when they are flying off shelves at retail...they wouldnt have lost a dime and technically would have made more $ as the shoe is selling at retail and not at a discounted price.
I agree with the zoom as well...but hell I'd pay an extra $10 for a box and zoom. Nike isn't kidding anyone, this doesn't cost an arm and a leg to implement. It's just laziness, disrespect towards the consumer (at least the kobe-head), the player (word is kobe wants a box) and a way to cut costs in order to add $ in to nike's pockets. Tell me how out of these 3 premiere athlete's, MJ, LeBron and Kobe that Nike has had, that MJ and LeBron have a box and Kobe doesn't? Can someone, anyone justify that for me? I think not. _________________ *There will only be one Jordan, but there will also be one Kobe and one Lebron.*

Still Nick you know what some cost depending on the design elements. Nike sb boxes with that logo on top and wood grain print inside come with a $70 shoe at retail. So yeah lil more at whatever the production cost is. Also please send me a pair of those black/gum Yeezys lol I can't do that black/pink pair at all. So I can ball in those! Yea they should give Kobe a box and I like the fact they release multiple colors if they start limited colorways they'll take the price from $120 to $160 _________________ "MR. EVERYTIMEYOUSEEMEGOTSUMNEWJAYS"

The shoe doesn't look to bad, but I think that it's still a ways to go 'til they have the final design. The shoe reminds me of the Zoom MVP joints that Steve Nash wears.
A box should be necessary after the success of the ZKIV'S especially. I mean I would have thought the box would have been necessary after Kobe won MVP but that's just me. I think with Kobe having a sneaker that retails at $120 is all the more reason to make an exclusive box for the man. Let's be serious this isn't about money with these sneaker heads; dudes drop hundreds over retail for Kobe's sneakers every day!! So I'm not buying the bit about how Nike doesn't want to pain its consumers. Make a box for the Kobe line and price the sneaker at Lebron prices. They'd sell the same as the $120 sneakers. _________________ WTB: AJ XIX (19) white/flint

first off..a kobe box is must..his line is a premium line for nike and should be treated as such! i agree with V and sarteaga a box cant cost that much and i am sick of the orange box like the shoe is a run of the mill shoe. the bron soldier has its own box and that shoe is techically a team shoe!
the zkv looks decent...i love the zkiv...as per the colorways it is kinda cool nike is giving som many colorways to the this particular model. i like it but..do not know why you release a "bred" colorway but whatever.. 3 colorways and a few limiteds would be more than fine.. i agree with sarteaga...we do not need 12 colorways like the bron line but a few colorways for a choice for us fans is fine and a few limiteds is pretty cool too i guess...shows how much a demand the line is now...gve us a box nike! _________________ selling:jordan xx3 white/red "Old Love" Sz8 DS |
