Smackdown:
*Smackdown opens with World champion The Undertaker discussing his Survivor Series title defense. Chris Jericho comes out and says he, not the Taker, is the true Phenom of the WWE. Taker grabs him by the throat. Jericho fights back but Taker gets the upper hand and Jericho retreats.
*The Rey Mysteiro and Batista video package was shown again.
*Dolph Ziggler and The Hart Dynasty over John Morrison and Cryme Time. Ziggler hit his finisher on Shad for the win. Morrison appeared to injure his ribs during the very early part of the match and tagged out quickly.
*Josh Matthews conducted a sit down interview with Rey Mysterio. He spoke about Batista turning his back on him and vowed that Batista will see a side of Rey that he's never seen before.
*Beth Phoenix over a local female wrestler in squash match.
*Drew McIntyre defeated Jimmy Wang Yang.
*Batista did a quick backstage interview with Josh Matthews. When they did a close up of Dave's face you could see his lovely nose stud.
*Rey Mysterio over Mike Knox. A solid match. Rey won with the 619/Splash combo
R-Truth defeated CM Punk when referee Scott Armstrong gave him a fast count. Afterwards, Punk complained and said he was going to file a complaint to the higher-ups.
*Backstage with Mickie James, Layla, and Michelle McCool. McCool talked down to James, then gave it back to McCool, and also called Layla "Scary Spice."
*A quick Batista/Hardy recap was shown.
*A Wrestlemania 26 promo was shown
*Matt Hardy was interviewed by Josh Matthews.
*Matt Hardy over Batista via DQ. Batista dominated the match, but also received the first boring chants of the night. This was kind of a lackluster way to end the night. |

In addition, I guess they're doing Team Mickie vs. Team McCool.
also, Jim The Anvil Neidhardt shows up on TNA I think this week. I guess Black Machismo has a storyline going now where he fights legends every week. *shrug* |

WWE is currently taping this week's edition of SmackDown from the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England. Below are live, ongoing results from the taping:
* CM Punk b. R-Truth. The following was announced for later tonight: The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho, John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler and the contract signing to Batista vs. Rey Mysterio for their match at Survivor Series.
* Natalya b. Mickie James with a sharpshooter after Layla & Michelle McCool distracted Mickie
* Finlay vs. Drew McIntyre ended in a no contest.
* The Rey Mysterio vs. Batista Survivor Series match contract signing is up next. Batista says Mysterio cannot sue him if Dave injures him in the match. Mysterio signs the contract and throws the table used for the contract signing on him.
* WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler ended in a double count out.
* Beth Phoenix b. a local female English worker.
* The filmed an extended brawl between Finlay and McIntyre that resulted in Finlay being escorted to the back by referees. It was announced that next week's show will feature a 2 out of 3 falls match between John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler.
* World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker b. Chris Jericho. Big Show came out and attacked Undertaker as Kane came out and made the save.

WWE Smackdown (Airing Friday on MyNetworkTV):
* They pyros go off to open this week's show. Batista vs. Matt Hardy is the opener. Batista wins with a Batista Bomb. Footage is shown from last week's Batista vs. Rey Mysterio Survivor Series match contract signing.
* They air a segment with The Undertaker and Kane talking.
* A Teddy Long/Vickie Guerrero backstage segment is shown next. Teddy says he doesn't need Vickie's advice. Vince McMahon comes in and names Vickie a Smackdown consultant.
* Drew McIntyre comes out, a Finlay/McIntyre promo is shown. The promo is proceeded by Finlay vs. McIntyre. McIntyre wins via pinfall after a double arm DDT
* CM Punk comes out and gives his typical Straight Edge promo. R-Truth comes out and interrupts him. He attacks Punk and dumps a trash can on him filled with alcohol, cigarettes and prescription medication.
* Josh Mathews interviews Batista backstage. He talks about how Rey Mysterio embarrassed him. They role footage from WWE's most recent European tour.
* John Morrison defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler in a two out of three falls match is up next. Morrison got the first fall via pinfall. Ziggler got the second via pinfall after hitting Zig Zag. Morrison got the third and final pinfall after hitting Starship Pain to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
* Mickie James b. Layla with a rollup. After the match, Michelle McCool sings an E-I-E-I-O parody on Mickie.
* Batista comes out to do commentary for Rey Mysterio vs. Tyson Kidd w/Natalya. Kidd wins via disqualification after Batista attacked Kidd. Mysterio attacked Batista and went to the back.
* Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show and Chris Jericho talk backstage. Jericho says he's not scared of The Undertaker and Kane. Show turns out the lights in the locker room, in an attempt to frighten Jericho.
* Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show & Chris Jericho vs. World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker & Kane. The match ends in no contest as Jericho runs backstage with the World Heavyweight Championship belt. |

*Smackdown opens with Chris Jericho in the ring discussing the TLC match for the Unified Tag Team championships at the TLC PPV. He then turns his attention to the announced Batista vs. Kane match tonight, noting it will name the new top contender for the Undertaker's World championship. He claims he should be in the match. Teddy Long comes out and announced Jericho vs. The Undertaker in a non-title match for later.
*The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Time.
*Backstage, Vickie Guerrero and Eric Escobar demand Teddy Long grant Escobar a Intercontinental championship bout. Long makes the match and says it will be his only shot.
*CM Punk comes out with Festus and a brown paper bag. Punk introduces Drew Gallows (that name may not be 100% correct but that's what it sounded like), formerly Festus. Punk said his friends gave him pills in the past and that's why Festus was in the state he was in, but that's in the past. Punk said that what he has inside the bag comes out 12/1 and he's scared that it will be available to the public. Punk pulls the Jeff Hardy DVD. Out comes Matt Hardy, who defends his brother. This leads to...
*Matt Hardy defeats CM Punk by DQ after Festus interferes. They beat down Hardy afterwards.
*Backstage, Mickie James is asked about Michelle McCool's video last week. James said that no matter how juvenile Layla and McCool get, she's worked hard to get here and she's not leaving Smackdown.
*Batista defeated Kane by countout to become the new number one contender to the World championship
*WWE Intercontinental champion John Morrison defeated Eric Escobar. After the bout, Vickie Guerrero yelled at, slapped and spit on Escobar.
*Backstage, Escobar and Guerrero argue. Escobar tells Vickie that she makes him sick and every time she kisses him, he has to wash his mouth out with disinfectant. He tells her they are over.
*World champion The Undertaker defeated Chris Jericho by DQ. Batista was at ringside doing commentary. Batista attacked Taker as he was setting up a tombstone. The episode ended with Batista beating down Taker.
After they went off the air, CM Punk hit the ring to take part in a three on one beating of Taker. Kane hit the ring for the save.

WWE Smackdown Taping Spoilers: Air Date: 12/4/09:
R-Truth beat CM Punk by DQ after Luke Gallos interfered, the bout ended with Gallos giving R-Truth a bear hug. Punk and Gallos taunted the crowd gaining a lot of heat with R-Truth still on the ground.
Kane beat Mike Knox in a pretty quick match. I am surprised that Knox still has a job.
Mickie James beat Beth Phoenix and Natayla to become the Number One Contender for the Women's Championship. It wasn't specified when she'd get the shot but after the match, since Michelle McCool and Layla were ringside at the announcer's table, Mickie James attacked them and got double teamed until Maria came out and helped Mickie fend them off.
Vickie Guerrero came out after being embarrassed last week by Eric Escobar and I could barely hear what she was saying because of there being so much booing from the crowd. I got the gist of it though, and pretty much Eric needed to come out and beg to come back to her. Eric came out but said he was sorry for ever meeting her. Vickie set up a handicap match between Escobar and the Hart Foundation.
Hart Foundation (DH Smith and Tyson Kidd) beat Eric Escobar in a handicap match. Pretty short one at that.
Backstage, Batista is complaining to Teddy Long about Undertaker calling him out tonight but Long said it wasn't his problem. Long however told Batista that next week on Smackdown that Batista and Mysterio will have a street fight match.
Drew McIntyre beat John Morrison in a really decent match, didn't see McIntryre beating Morrison at all. Crowd wasn't pleased.
Big Show and Jericho beat Cryme Tyme after Big Show got tagged in and hit Shad with a one hit "KO".
Undertaker came out to a pretty sweet entrance from what I could tell only to get beat down by Batista with a chair. Batista kept knocking Taker around with it until referee Scott Armstrong got involved and then Tony Chimel who announced ECW, Superstars, and Smackdown announced that the dark main event to be Taker vs Batista vs CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista and Punk double teamed Taker only for Taker to come back and start fighting both of them. Somehow the chair got involved when Jericho's music came on and Jericho started beating up on Taker. Kane got involved as well and both Kane and Taker chokeslammed Batista and Jericho. CM Punk got a tombstone and Taker got the obvious victory and retained the title. |

-Smackdown starts with Batista cutting an in-ring promo. He says that he didn't ask for a match with Rey Mysterio tonight. He said that since he's focused on winning the World championship, fans are booing him. He says he doesn't care because it's not about the fans, it's about the title. Batista says he doesn't need Rey or the fans. Come Sunday, he's going to beat the Undertaker and win the World title.
-CM Punk and Gallows defeated Matt Hardy and R-Truth. Punk cut a promo before the match talking about drugs. He shows the Jeff Hardy DVD and says the Jeff Hardy DVD will give you hallucinations. He says parents are pathetic for buying it for their children. Hardy came out with a bag of the DVD to give out.
-Kane is shown walking in the back. He comes across Mike Knox who says they are alike, both monsters. He says he wants to fight Kane again. Kane says Knox isn't in a monster, but he will get his wish.
-In a backstage segment, Vickie Guerrero tells Eric Escobar he'll be facing Chris Jericho tonight.
-Jericho vs. Escobar. Vickie comes out and announces it's actually a handicap match with Big Show. WWE Unified Tag Team champions Chris Jericho & Big Show defeated Escobar. They cut a promo on DX for the PPV.
-Drew McIntyre comes out and cuts a promo, promising John Morrison won't be WWE Intercontinental champion for long. John Morrison comes out dressed in full Scottish regalia, i.e. Mel Gibson in Braveheart. He was carrying a sword and may have even accidentally nicked himself above the eye with it. Morrison promises he won't lose the title. They get into a little skirmish. In the end, McIntyre powders out of the ring and exits through the crowd.
-Kane defeated Mike Knox.
-Mickie James and Maria defeated Michelle McCool and Layla El.
-Batista defeated Rey Mysterio in a Street Fight. After the bout, Batista put a chair around Mysterio's neck and climbed to the ropes. Before he could jump off, the lights went out and when they returned, The Undertaker was in the ring and Mysterio was gone. Taker unloads on Batista. He grabs a chair but Batista escapes. End of show. |
