get it with 2 dots instead of 3 then you could say, its inspired by them and when you get old it was just a cool face you liked |
thats just a regular face then..itll just look retarded if he get two eyes. i say just get the heiro logo, it would still be coo when you grow up because youll remember your love for their music, and the whole concept of the third eye is coo anyways. _________________ Sbmonk 'til...

Just remember, memorial tattoos don't always have to say R.I.P or the persons name.
As long as it's meaningful to you then that's all that matters. |
Yea, where were you planning on getting ink breh? Shop? Body part?
HYPHE, yea i got some tats page 4 or 5 i believe maybe 6. But that rosary tat around the neck, i dont think im gonna get any time soon, im like 50/50 right now, and i think you should 100% about a tat so that you wont feel iffy or regrets once its on you. |
Yea that's true.
I just saw a few pages back somebody asking about tattoo shops in Queens...
Word of advice...
First thing is first.. Monster Tattoo is f*cking terrible and so is every other tattoo shop in Queens.. Real talk.
The only decent, and I repeat decent shop in Queens is Red Parlor and I still wouldn't get tattooed there.
As far as getting tattooed in NYC goes.. There are only 5 shops worth going to..
In order...
1. Last Rites - Hands down the best shop NYC has ever seen. Every artist is reputable and has their own shop.
2. Tribulation Tattoo - Tim Kern is the truth.
3. Smith Street Tattoo - Awesome classic stuff.
4. Dare Devil - Terry Ribera is man.
5. Adorned - Only for guest artists, I wouldn't go to any of the resident artists.
6. East Side Ink - Bang Bang is decent.
Remember, whatever you're getting is going to be on you forever so don't go to some low budget bullshit shop.
If you're trying to get a cheap tattoo why even bother. |
I agree and but let me ask you, Have you been to every shop in NYC? Whatever Tattoo in the Village is decent, now I may agree with you saying Monster Tattoo is shitty. I wont say terrible, they have a great tattooist who does peices. Now the location and look of the parlor is trashy but I dont know any better place in Queens. Lol. I'm young, 19 just getting into the tattoo scene, my ink is on like the second or third page, I drew that up with a little help. May have to get some better pics, but yea, I dont have much of a budget when it comes to ink but I dont wanna get overpriced, there is Quality and there is Overpricing.. thousands for a tat? No. lol. Maybe something like ur sleeve. But I agree with most of the stuff you said you know your shit. Not tryna question ya intelligence or nothing just tryna get more insite. Ooo, and there is a guy I want you to see his work, and give me your input on him. I'll PM you his info, if you dont mind doing that for me. Thanks. And I took a look at the tattoo parlors you listed, they are all a different stlye of tatting. Some people arent looking for stuff like that, maybe some just want writing, why go to a place like that and waste money, well not waste it may be good quality in your eyes and others, but your no one special to say who is a low budget bullshit artist. From what I see is your well learned on Ink, and you know some good places and got a decent sleeve. All I am tryna say is not everyone wants tattoos like that, I have seen the pics of all of the artists works from each parlor, they are all limited to specific forms of art. They are awsome artists but remember its bigger than that, a good tattoo is not just about quality, its about the person who is recieving the tattoo, their happiness with the product. I am not saying you are wrong I am just tryna point out somethings I am hoping you missed. _________________

Thanks for the reply.
I disagree on many different levels but don't really care to elaborate.
And my sleeve is way above decent. It's actually superb .
Getting my left side started on the 1st of December.
Edit*
And if you think anybody @ Monster Tattoo is decent then my friend you don't know anything about tats.
Even when getting writing/text going to a good place makes a big difference.
You obviously still have a lot to learn.
The places I posted are all different styles and not overpriced.
And do you have any work done? _________________
