Very true, thats the main reason people always ask about Audi/VW and their electrical problems they use to have in the 80s and 90s
Which has all been worked out for todays Audi/VW line up of cars.... I'm sure you will still get a electrical problem here and there
but def not even close to how it was years ago............I tell people all the time, you are buying or thinking of buying a new Audi/VW
Stop thinking old school years, go and test drive the new models and do some research on them.....you will quickly start thinking in the new school way about their cars
I suggest you take your girl and go have some fun test drives (if you haven't already done so) take a TT, SLK and any other cars she may be iffy about.
thats the only way to do it.....she might actually get a lil surprise from the new models, things that made her shy away from previous models
may turn her head in the right direction now.....its a new time and new technology.
Good luck with that steve, let me know how it goes.......
BTW my best friend is a parts manager at Torontos biggest Porsche dealer.....he has driven all the models on the track aswell as the street
His feedback on the Cayman S is, a big thumbs up, great handling, power and brakes......very smooth and easy to drive.
He also recently drove the Panamera too but we wont get in to that beast....hahaha

| Last year I bought a 2005 Lincoln Towncar. I put in a 1000watt sound system and 2 12" JL Audio subs as well as 20" chrome rims. I am planning on going to a new college next semester and no longer want the towncar. I want something brand new. My friend and co-worker wants to take over payments for me. Is this possible?? I bought it from a buy here pay here and $3000 is left. Can I just sign it over to him or will the car dealership not allow it? |

What ever money you have owing on the car, simply go to the bank that gave you the loan initially
Find out how much is owing on your car, make a deal with your friend (selling price that is)
He will pay you via cert cheque or money order etc......you pay off your loan, he gets your car.
Do what ever paper work is necessary to make this deal all legit and call it a day.
(transfer of ownership, that kind of stuff) it's pretty straight forward........good luck. _________________
