Personally, I wouldn't risk the reliability issues with the Suby. I wouldn't buy a car that has been heavily modified by the previous owner. _________________

Call your local sign/graphic/vinyl shop...
If you can lay vinyl yourself, material shouldn't cost you more then $100
Vinyl is pretty cheap when buying by the meter...
Its fairly easy to lay down vinyl... _________________

Everyone has their own level of how difficult things are.
Take it back to 1996, My Neon, I laid all the vinyl down myself, very easy.
at one point I had the entire hood done in flat black
sorry for the bad pic, its scanned and only one of a few that I have.

| Ok when I turn on my electronic controler unit(ecu) on my car and I drive up to about 2.5 rpm to 3 the car starts to jerk when trying to go faster but only when I gas it to drive fast. Then when I turn off the ecu the car drives fine. Any suggestions to the problem? Bad ecu? Maybe reset it?. I drive a 1993 3000gt vr4. |

^ if your positive its the ECU, check the power relay supply to the ECU or open the ECU and check for black/melted spots inside, your ecu could have corrosion inside. _________________

My girl is looking for a car. We went to the Miami Auto Show and couldn't find anything new that was "killer". I mean the GTR is sick - the ZR1 sicker - but those are a little too manly.... But - she does like to drive fairly hard and likes a nice car. Her girlfriend just got a new Z4 but she isn't into it. What she really does like is the Cayman S.
What other cars can you guys think of that are in the Cayman S vicinity? She isn't looking at new - probably '06 or '07. It is a second car. We do live in south FL but she isn't sold on a convertible. Will use the car for some road trips to the keys as well as up the coast to GA. She is pretty sold on the Cayman S... driving another one today - just want to give her some options. |

Cayman is a very nice lil ride....and I see that she has good taste...hahaha....def the Cayman is under rated and not as appreciated by most people
Ive had the privilege of sitting in a Cayman but not driving it.....IMO, it's very nice.
Has she thought about a Audi TT-S or a SLK32 AMG ? _________________

^ Way too many BMWs around here. Plus... I had an 850 10 years ago and that thing SUCKED! I kick myself for not getting the NSX. The 8 was sweet looking but just too heavy and too slow for a V12.
M3's are sick - just everyone has one around here. Plus she doesn't want a four door. We have a Cayenne Turbo and a Volvo T... she wants something fun to drive that is a little different than the norm.
She is looking at a yellow one today..... I'm reserving my thoughts until I see it.

Audi TT is pretty cool - saw the new one yesterday - she doesn't like it as much as the Cayman or Boxster. SLK is damn nice - but she had a Mercedes awhile back and had nothing but problems. It sucks... once you have a car that leaves a bad taste in your mouth you shy away from that company forever... even if they make heat. |
