Homer Hankies Twins FTW!!!I think the Twins copyrighted that shit.
Quote:
Official Star Tribune Minnesota Twins Homer Hanky (or "Homer Hanky" for short), is a handkerchief printed with a (usually red) baseball-shaped logo during Minnesota Twins championship seasons (and in 1988 after winning the World Series in 1987). It was first introduced during the 1987 Pennant race, when the Twins won the American League Western division (AL West), by the Minneapolis Star Tribune as a promotional item for the newspaper during the pennant race.

The towel thing has been more prevalent the past 4 years.
That shit annoys me and I don't get it.

^Yeah and some players have complained more vocally this postseason about them as well...should prolly switch to a colored towel instead of the white if they insist on keeping these things around. Also I was told recently it was actually started by some college football team although the Steelers usually get credit with the "Terrible Towels".

Anyway tonight should be an epic matchup between "2 old goats on the mound" as Pedro says! Laughing

Off the strength of the fans alone, the Phillies are gonna come into the stadium already down.

^lol you obviously know nothing about this Phillies team, they feed exactly off of that. They're road warriors and as J-Roll quoted "We love coming into someone elses house and trying to rip the hearts right out of their fans". The Madison Ave. crowd in games 1 & 2 was nothing like the old Yankee stadium and I highly doubt they'll have much of an impact on Pedro either, who also thrives off of 50,000 people chanting for him, even if it is "Who's Your Daddy?!".

Should be awesome, LET'S GO PHILS!!!!!

Lee pitched Monday. Game 7 is Thursday? Isn't that only 2 days rest? That would be some shit if he does pitch game 7 on 2 days rest.

@jonbx5 it's been reported that Charlie is leaning towards starting Hamels if there is a game 7.

Of course that would be an all-hands-on-deck scenario for both teams so anything would go.

^ I wouldn't be surprised if Lee came out of the bullpen if there is a game 7 and pitched 2-3 innings of relief and I also think Blanton should get the start over Hamels he pitched pretty well in game 4. Oh and Pedro's on the mound tonight he pitched magnificently in game 2, but the homers and Phillies offense were the cause of his loss, losing 3-1 I consider that a well pitched game and hopefully he can do it again tonight. Thumbs Up
