he hasn't pitched on short rest yet and as well as pedro pitched last game it should be a good match up. No way in hell Pettite handles the phillies easily.

I will guarantee a loss if Hamels pitches it's a win for the Yankees. I hope Pedro can pull it off against Petite on short rest.
Thought the goddamned yankees were going to come back last night.

worries, curious, nervous, happy, excited,
just cant wait to see tomarrows game, all signs point to a good game
good home team, but short rest with bats on fire, agaisnt pedro doin decent wit back against wall at yankees stadium

I cant understand half of what the kids in this thread type... lol. Its like a plethora of illiteracy  .
If hamels can pull it together and get control of his curveball he can pitch and win... as of now he is throwing 2 pitches. Maybe that gets you thru a lineup ONCE, but hitters as good as jeter, aroid, etc... are gonna figure you out VERY quickly.
And the myers thing was a joke and taken out of context. Hamels and Myers are very good friends and carpool to the ballpark together on game days because they live near one another.
That being said, we have game 6 to worry about first... pettite is a big game pitcher, yes. He is also as old as pedro and pitching on short rest, and was not UN-hittable in game 3. It is going to be a very good game regardless... i am hoping the bats stay as live as they were last night (for my team obviously).
Im still saying its going 7... well see. |
