I originally started this thread to seek out more info on longboards and came across the brand "Loaded", where countless reviews from other websites have said that Loaded is cream of the crop. I bought a Loaded Vanguard recently and have been riding ever since. I'm not an expert by any means, but I want to use this thread to inform to share with others. Please feel free to discuss anything related to longboarding! Although I am biased towards the Loaded brand, I will start to post other brands soon.
With that said,
POST YOUR LONGBOARDS !!! (doesn't matter which brand)
Vanguard 38 or 42":
The one that started it all. Symmetrical shape and stance for a balanced center of gravity to increase the ability to weight the deck through turns for better control and energy generation. The sidecuts allow for decreased torsional stiffness between the feet to exploit the board's torsional energy to allow for greater nuances in the turning radius.
Ceviche 33":
With a built-in tail and subtle nose kick, this replacement for the Fish is a versatile link between carving bliss and old school/street skating. Camber and concave between the kicks allows for carving and pumping, while the nose and tail create a more surf-oriented feel with lots of opportunities for tricks. Loose and agile, it's time to explore the limits of your sidewalk and hill thrashing abilities.
Pintail 35.5":
You will stop sleeping. Sorry, but it's true. Versatile, light and fluid, this board is designed to promote an assertive, dynamic riding style. It'll hold it's own on hills, banks, commuting, and beer runs. But if you're anything like us, it's all about the late night parking garage sessions. Glassy eyes and a permanent grin.
Dervish 41.5":
With a lower center of gravity and a torsionally stiff design, the Dervishes are built to hold an edge and maximize energy return. A drop-thru carver designed to work with most reverse kingpin geometry trucks and 70mm+ wheels. The dropthru design allows for easier pushing, more stability at speed, and easier sliding. It has a small flat nose and tail for manual and shovit tricks.
Dancer 55":
55" of dancing decadence. Years in the making and developed by the monster himself, Adam Colton. Designed with functional concerns foremost, the Dancer incorporates a flat and dampened deck for easy cross stepping, as well as built-in nose and tail kicks for effortless manuals, shovits and g-turns. Functional wheel cut outs and wheel wells enhance carving ability, while a minimal camber keeps the board damp and forgiving.
