I noticed that some of the links on page1 are broken ...I was cleaning a few pairs up today, so I dunno if you want to use these pics instead ....here's the XIIIs again...
1997 OG White/True red-Black XIII vs the 2008 CDP version
***The OGs are on the right in all pics & bottom shoe in the sole & insole comparisons***
Personally, I think this is one of the better retros from JB. To be honest, there really isn't much to point out, the Jumpmans on the toungue are almost identical between the two. The CDP version has a slightly thicker white "trim" around the edge of the tongue. The main difference is the shape of the cut on the white leather uppers. Admitedly the quality of the leather is slightly nicer on the '97s, but overall shapewise they did a good job.
(Sorry the hologram isn't clearer)

i used to not mind the comparison between the dmp 1's and the 2001 retro.

only very subtle differences between the OG and retro BRed XII's. The difference in shades of black near the laces, the difference in width of the shoelaces, and the difference in color in the arch of the sole (checkerboard pattern)
