im not sure how to fix that then, cause you are suppose to get the g1 package that it came with. so its more of your network.

| if i text a lot, should i get the SK09 over the G1 ? i love SK's but the G1 seems so much more efficient. |

yepp you pay the same amount but g1 have much more functionality and ability. think about it, when you are in the middle of nowhere or when you are lost, would you rather have a g1 that have google maps and gps or have your sidekick that you can text and AIM your friends on how to get back home.

then just carry an extra battery on you? im not sure hows the sk battery life but if you remember to charge your g1 everyday then it wont happen.

the g1 battery doesnt die as fast as it used to.. but if your worried just bring your charger with you and you'll be good

| alright that works for me. also, i just used my friends g1 today and it seems that the scrolling ball is very sensitive, is that adjustable ? he said that the latest update made it that way but i wanna make sure. oh and i cant seem to check my mail(yahoo) on the web browser for the g1, i think its cause yahoo mail has advanced. does anyone else have that problem? |

I heard the touch pro2 is coming out on tmo, which is great news. can any1 working for corporate tmo confirm this?

yes its been confirmed, you might as well ask the web because not everyone from tmo corp will know. actually if you ask the sales rep at tmo, they'll know nothing. no need to ask, its releasing mid or late august

that hurts 
actually tmobile has been keeping reps up to date recently, most of the big phones have release dates and info ready
and release date is aug 12th unless something happens

haha sry 2, i forgot you are one of them. but seriously, most of the sales rep here havent even heard of whats the mytouch until june and if you ask any of them about the touch pro 2, they'll be like 'huh'. i've tried a few TMO stores as i walk by.

I have a G1 now and love it, but if texting is all that you're gonna be doing, the Sidekick is the way to go. The keyboard blows the G1's away, the monthly rate is cheaper, and the Sidekick's native AIM client completely destroys the one the G1 is shipped with (or anything in the Marketplace, now that I think about it).

yessssss finally, a decent subsidized htc handset from tmo. the battery life is amazing, they promised 8 days of standby. how much do you think it'll be? I'm thinking 150-200.
also, is there some way I can get the phone without the data plan? I think data plans aren't worth it, and there's wifi almost everywhere in manhattan.
