How many people out there use a HTC pocket PC phone? Anyone here hack their pocket pc phone?
Post questions regarding anything on pocket pc, software issues, where to get software, games, and etc...

ps. I have a HTC Kaiser aka AT&T Tilt. Running on Sakajati's Windows Mobile 6.5.

leaked pics... tungsten rumored to be tmobile, barium rumored to be AT&T, Saphire and hero rumored to be the G2, Jasper C rumored to be sprint.. rest is not decided yet. but rumor also said that rhodium might be on tmobile network as well

Damn I was just thinking about making an Official HTC thread. I have the Tilt, I haven't hacked it but I'm free for the rest of the day so I just might. A little afraid since I waited to long get insurance. But how is your Wing holding up?

well as long as you hard spl your phone, it shouldn't brick and can be fixed.
my wing is pretty fast now and love it consider this phone originally is pretty cheap.

Yea I have the info and what not to do a hard spl, Ill def do it tonight.
Yea the Diamond is a nice phone, they're coming out with another version of it and it will have a keyboard, idk what they are going to call it though.

wow so many people with tilt. i've heard many tilt users saying that its not much of a difference and the speed is about the same as a hacked wing. im waiting on the next htc phone as well, it prob will determine whether i'll switch to ATT or stay with T-mobile.
jw for ATT user, is the 3G network really fast? or if you notice a difference in speed at all?
ps. thanks for the site! they actually have alot of cool stuff on it.

supposedly to be released for tmobile..
personally i dont have an htc, but alot of my friends have the tilt. i have an n95 8gb. i was looking at the diamond as my next phone.. but so far it doesnt seem like that huge of a difference.

Great thread. Hopefully windows will put out a stable OS..
 I hear good things about the newer one though..So hopefully they achieve that.
Also..I would like to look forward to buying a new HTC device..My old one (Dash) sucked bawllllzz.

| I just got a Verizon XV6900(Touch) yesterday. Its pretty nifty. I need to add some software on it though.. Btw, has anyone tried the linux android? I saw a youtube video of it on the HTC Touch and it looks pretty dope. I'm hesitant to instal it though.. |

3g is very fast. i used to have a data plan but now i just use wifi in my house. if i were you i'd switch to a tilt. the wing is so laggy. the tilt also has a 3mp cam which looks great..

for 200 or less, you cant really get much if you don't get a new contract. however, i found my wing in MINT condition for only $190 =] i really recommend it but only if you are willing to spend the time to use another rom and hack it.

have you ever compared the 3G to other data network? liked tmobile's edge?
and actually I have a friend who have both wing and tilt and he said there's actually not that much difference because once you hack the wing, you can set the processor speed to 260 or even 299 which is A LOT faster. But if you not going to update to a customized rom and stay with tmobile's stock rom, then the speed is 201mhz which is.. REALLY slow. so far, my hacked wing is the fastest phone i ever had (and i had a lot of htc and blackberries before)
