you use the buttons (aka D-PAD) also i believe the red button (the middle one) isn't actually the middle DPAD, its the up or down DPAD.

I just got an iphone for my bday, so it looks like I will be abandoning you guys.
I will be selling my HTC Touch Dual 20 key, lightly used just got it back from HTC a button light went out.
It will come with all original in box items, 2 extra screen protectors, a 2 gig micro SD card, extra holster and whatever else I have laying around that works with the phone.

aww what a shame. iphone is overrated =P hopefully you can come back when the touch pro or dream comes out

I tried doing it several times again, only to get the same result. But it's not that big of a deal, I rather not put you through all that trouble. You think there is a possibility I've done something with my phone that I'm not realizing, so maybe I should do a hard rest and try flashing it? |
im not sure if this is the same for kaiser, but for wing, if your SPL number is too new, then you can't hard-spl it. hmm make a post in xda and see if anyone can help you there. sry, don't have a kaiser =/ PM emperor, he seems to know a lot about the phone. |

Thanks for the vid. I watched a video similar to that. I know I followed all the correct steps. I know I tried the latest one and I think I tried 3.29. But I'll try again tonight.

Someone please convince me to keep my Tilt rather than to make the switch to BB (whether its the Curve or the Bold).
what i dont like bout my Tilt (mind you, i havent really done any type of modding/hacking to it), is that it is just way too laggy for me. ie, when i text, there's a delay from when i press the letter to the time it comes up. and also when i slide the screen open & close, there's that delay it takes for the screen to change the orientation
so, someone wanna tell me which mods would take of this problem, before the HTC family loses another member ?? |

well lemme remind you that you can't watch youtube videos on blackberrys and you would have to pay for a decent AIM program on blackberries (on top of that, you dont get a touch screen and easy to type keyboard)
what you need is overclocking. you really don't need much because tilt is already a powerful phone. you need to hardspl your phone and then load a new rom and the overclock the CPU speed. wing is one of the slowest phone on earth but after overclocking, the speed is above average. I really recommending you do a lot of research on the 'kaiser' at the forums on xda-developers.com.. you would rather spend more time learning about the kaiser then wasting your money.

if you don't like thick phones, then htc or any pocketpc phone isn't for you. the htc android phone already leaked and its called the dream. it also have a slide out keyboard and a wider screen.
the only thing you can get is the diamond because it don't have a keyboard. almost all pocket pc phone is thick

the fact that I have to slide the screen to use the keyboard is another reason why I don't like the phone.
but, i'm willing to take your word for it & do some research at xda & try out the different roms they got over there.
any particular roms you'd recommend? |
