while it's a good shoe, i don't see enough variances from the regular UK made 577 to warrant the attention.

essentially the same color blocking, etc. with a windmill patch sewn onto the tongue.

I believe that shoe is the regular UK made 577 you are talking about. Just a reissue of the old 577NG if im not mistaken.

Juan, excellent image. Real vibrant, crisp and you have just the right amount blur leading in from the right hand side to the BG. Real nice. Thumbs Up Mr TL...I know there isn't anything that special about the 577NG (US or England model). I just really wanted to get my hands on the one with the 'Made in England' label. I like small details like that.

That was a really quick photograph also. Nothing that I put a lot of effort into. At least, nothing compared to the effort I put into my WDYWT images; I only took 15 photo of that NB577. That's nothing compared to some of my WDYWT where I may take up to 130 photographs to get the right one or few.

It's good to see this thread going and seeing everyone's effort on the topic. Keep it coming. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

There are a few minute differences in the color blocking between the 577AS and 577NG. this is kind of what tl was getting at, but he boiled it down to the bespoke tongue label. also, dont let the "made in england" hype blind you to other quality nb releases.
