Ok, I have a 4th generation click wheel iPod and i'm trying to restore it. Everytime i plug in my iPod to my computer iTunes cant find it. So is there another way i can restore my iPod. I have already tried most of the solutions to get your iTunes to find your iPod on the Apple website. Someone help em please. Thanks

^ Have you updated your iTunes? I know its sounds simple but my 4th gen iPod was the same way and I updated my iTunes and it was all good. Otherwise, there are other ways to get mp3s onto your iPod. Google up "sharepod" and that will work with 4th gen iPods.

wow speaking of help, my ipod just broke yay!
something was corrupt and i got the big red x that says to visit the support site, and i've done all the steps but it still doesn't work so...off to the apple store for a new one!

i have some dead pixels on mine. except its not in the screen i dont think. it may be dead pixels in the back light. when the backlight isnt on, the screen is fine and there are no dead pixels. but when the backlight comes on theres a couple rows and a bunch of "dead pixels" on it. then when the backlight goes off they go away. is there a way to fix this? o yea, and its a 30 vid. one of the older ones. doesnt really bother me, but i wonder about it. also, when i watch vids, u can see the dead pixels. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I doubt pixels on the backlight are bad. Since you know, LCD back ights don't have pixels or anything. They are just a big bar light. |

sorry man thread went dead for a minute...
it says on itunes what's compatible, Ipod classic, Ipod 5th generation, and the 3rd generation nano.
So no games for the ipod touch.

I did that, it says I had to set up an apple account with a whole credit card thing.  |
So fill int he details, adn then get the album artwork. The artwork is free. |
