im looking to buy an 8gb ipod touch and plan on jailbraking it, is the 32gb with the new CPU a lot better and worth the extra price for space and newer CPU?

papasboi: It may better to just buy another iPod.
chckboy5: It depends if you are going to take advantage of that extra space. If you don't have that many songs/vids/pictures then it would just be empty space, but really up to you.

Hello.
Quick question, again. This is related to iTunes.
So recently, my computer has been re-done, by that I mean everything deleted including my iTunes Library. I had about 5k of songs on my list, from various different sources (cds, internet). Is there anyway to get my Library back or can I just start a new Library but just keep adding on the my 5k alreay stored in my iPod?

Pinnacle, what you can do is use the program EPH pod and it will extract all the songs on your iPod to your computer. Then add those songs to your iTunes library and resync the iPod with the new library. Everything should be the same after that and you can keep adding/deleting songs to it. Happy Thanksgiving!

I will try this, EPH pod. Does it matter if I delete the songs after I upload them to my iPod? By that I mean before my library got smacked. I use to DL or burn the song, upload to iPod and then delete it. This doesn't matter right?
I was thinking of getting an External Hard Drive specifically for my songs and movies, this a good idea? haha. Just wanting some opinions.

As far as I know, this is only achievable on a jailbroken ipod. Use "winterboard" if it is jailbroken (a very good app you should have anyway) and there is an option for it.

I just downloaded winterboard and it asked me to reboot device, but because its tethered, I had to plug it back in to my comp and now its restoring
5 hours of downloading apps down the drain  |
Im sorry, I have no experience with tethered jailbreaks. But that is the most established way (at least for older jailbreaks) to do what youre asking.
