hey quick question for you guys..i had the first gen shuffle, and then i upgraded to a nano..I want to give my mom the shuffle now, but i want to save the songs on the shuffle to my new nano, and i want them before i erase the whole ipod..but I got a new computer between me getting the shuffle and the nano, so the nano is registered on the computer im on now, and the shuffle is registered to a computer that we gave to someone else...when i plug in the shuffle, it asks if i want to erase and sinc, but i dont, so i click out, expecting to see "ipod shuffle" show up under the divices, and it doesnt..it doesnt even show up when i go from computer: to usb..can anyone help me out?

If you have the time, a restore would fix it. There's likely a less time consuming and easy fix for it though. |

i figured it wanted me to create an itunes account and get the album art from them but idk |
When you plug it in to your computer, there should be a button for restore on itunes. It will erase all your files and then reupload them, so make sure your data is backed up and stuff, what kind of ipod do you have? |
I had the same problems with album art. I think it also depends where he got the album artwork. When something leaks early, I usually go to Google images, look up the cover, copy and past it into my iTunes.
When I do that sometimes the album art isnt recognized and I get the black boxes.
I usually go to my library, (on the computer and on my iPod because I manage everything manually)...
Edit>Select All> right click> Get Info......when the box comes up, I go to album artwork...check the box....this will clear all the artwork off your iTunes and/or iPod...I then use my account to get all the album artwork back, and it also frees up a lot of space since Im not copying/pasting the artwork manually from google searches |

As for syncing to a new computer.....thats hard to say because you didnt really elaborate. Are you planning on transfering all the contents of your iPod into another computer? or starting from scratch? Answering those question will give me a better idea of what advice to give you.

your talking to me right? if so: well i want to take the songs off the shuffle, and place them into my nano, while keeping the songs that i already have..i basically want to drag the shuffle folder into my nano folder, but i dont know how.

you can download them from torrents and maybe comvert it into mp4 so you can upload to your itunes and ipod.

I got the 30 GB Ipod d Touch 1st Generation. Can someone help me on how to get games on there for free? And would I have to update it or anything? Do I need to Jailbreak it? If so how do I do that>???
I got this iPod Touch from a friend and it is my first time using it..
I have no experience with it so if someone can help me out that'll be great!

Everytime i plug my ipod into my computer i get this error
"windows - no disk"
First thing i thought of was changing the disk drive letter. Previously it was G now its I and it still didnt fix it.
Any solutions?
ALSO
When its plugged in my ipod folder keeps opening. I right clicked the drive and change it to no action but its still popping up.
Really getting on my nerves.
Enable disk use is also off for both problems.
