i think that if its physical damage they wont fix it. If there is a iphone repair store around you. Then you can ask them if they can fix it, but if you wanted apple to fix it then i doubt it.

When you plug it in to your computer, there should be a button for restore on itunes. It will erase all your files and then reupload them, so make sure your data is backed up and stuff, what kind of ipod do you have? |
I had the same problems with album art. I think it also depends where he got the album artwork. When something leaks early, I usually go to Google images, look up the cover, copy and past it into my iTunes.
When I do that sometimes the album art isnt recognized and I get the black boxes.
I usually go to my library, (on the computer and on my iPod because I manage everything manually)...
Edit>Select All> right click> Get Info......when the box comes up, I go to album artwork...check the box....this will clear all the artwork off your iTunes and/or iPod...I then use my account to get all the album artwork back, and it also frees up a lot of space since Im not copying/pasting the artwork manually from google searches |

can anyone help i have an 8gb ipod nano but i dont knowthe password to raise the volume limit. is there any way i can like make a new password now, or get like all possible combinations to try till i get the right one?

..but when i select "get album art" do i have to make sure im looking @ that specific album.
Ive done trial and error with some albums
1. check the album art box which removes the the album art like you said
2. find an image online and save it to a specific folder on my computer
3. copy & paste that image into the album art box and it shows up on the ipod now.
The only thing im worried about is when i go to sync my ipod to my next cpu (hopefully a Mac laptop) if theyll still be there.

Turned on ipod an got a message saying it must sync to itunes to restore. After trying that I got a 1429 code. What does that mean? After trying to restore I left it charging. An hour later the regular screen came up, but my music is gone. Any help.
