[Air Yeezy at a Glance]
In any case, regardless of what the product is, familiarize yourself with an item before purchasing. Consistent viewing of an item will inevitably give you the opportunity to notice when something is not right.
The Air Yeezy, is without a doubt, one of the most difficult sneakers to decipher legitimate or counterfeit.
What: Nike Air Yeezy Black/Black/Pink
Original Release Date: May 2nd, 2009
Product and Color Code: 366164 003
Box MSRP: $215.00
Common giveaways tipping off counterfeit pairs:
-The toe-box material on almost every fake pair, is canvas. Authentic pairs use a nylon material that is soft. This is easy to tell. (Only on the Black/Pink CW.)
-Fake pairs, in most cases use thinner oval laces as appose to the thicker, denser oval laces of authentic pairs.
-Inconsistencies in paneling can give the sneaker a ‘disproportional’ look. This simply means something ‘just doesn’t look right’.
-The toe-box should have a gradual and smooth transition shape, and should not be boxy or broad. Everything should flow together and fit correctly together.
-Stitching: Stitching on almost every pair should be neat and consistent. This includes the pattern of the stitching and the evenness along the panel border. There are a few exceptions due to factory defections and are labeled as “B-Grades”, however, all “B-Grades” are in-fact stamped or marked.
_______________________________________________________________________
1 - Notice the curvature of the midsole. It is not too block-like. The midsole has the correct proportion to it, and is neatly cut to fit the proportion of the upper. The midsoles on all 3 Yeezy's have a flat paint context, no glossy paint was used on ANY production.
2 - The PL strap that comes across the laces panels and the tongue is imprinted with an all-over 'Y' print. You can see the imprint isn't too severe, and it is not imprinted into the leather; the imprint is light to show the texture of the contrasted 'Y' markings.
3 - This is the smooth transition from the front midsole to the outer toe-box panel, to the inner toe-box panel that an authentic pair of Air Yeezy's have. The Black/Pink Yeezy is the only pair out of the 3 that were released that do not have the 'Y' imprinted on the outer toe-box panel.
4 - The toe-box material on a legit pair is a softer nylon. Fake pairs use a rougher canvas-like material, that has more of a faded look to it.
This is a better shot of the tongue, lacelock, and PL strap. You can see the pattern of the 'Y' print and how imprinted it really is. Fake pairs generally have heavily imprinted 'Y' print PL straps. The perforated holes on the tongue are evenly spaced and the pattern is consistent. This picture also gives you a better understanding of the correct laces that come with the sneakers. They are thicker than the traditional oval laces.

What: Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net
Original Release Date: June 6th, 2009
Product and Color Code: 366164 111
Box MSRP: $215.00
Common giveaways tipping off counterfeit pairs:
-Clean cut materials are one of the most important things to look for with the Air Yeezy. Fake pairs will often have a sloppy-cut patent leather strap that comes across the mid-foot, and the patent leather is usually much duller than an authentic pair.
Fake pairs often have a flatter, boxier toe-box. In just about every case with a fake pair, the paneling of the outer and inner toe-box do not fit together properly.
-Stitching: Stitching on almost every pair should be neat and consistent. This includes the pattern of the stitching and the evenness along the panel border. There are a few exceptions due to factory defections and are labeled as “B-Grades”, however, all “B-Grades” are in-fact stamped or marked.
-The suede panel outlining the toe-box on fake 'Net' color-way Yeezy's is usually very, very dark. Authentic pairs have a lighter charcoal shade suede.
_______________________________________________________________________
1 - Notice the cut of the midsole. It has a proportional shape, its not too block-like. The air-unit is cut evenly and and fits right in the middle of the rear midsole. The white-based paint has a flat texture, not glossy like the paint of the recent Air Jordan III's or Spiz'ike's.
2 - The transition from the outsole, to the suede outer toe-box, 'Y' imprinted panel, is smooth. The toe-box on any Air Yeezy should not be boxy or broad. The color of the outer toe-box panel is a light shade of charcoal.
3 - The patent leather strap should be evenly cut, and should be cut neatly and proportionally. The stitching on the base of the strap should flow right into the outer toe-box panel stitching.
4 - Notice the correct height of the Air Yeezy. It is a true high-top. The ankle pad does not slouch. Many fake pairs are cut lower and don't have such a drastic elevation from the base of the ankle to the top.

What: Nike Air Yeezy Zen Grey/Light Charcoal
Original Release Date: April 4th, 2009
Product and Color Code: 366164 002
Box MSRP: $215.00
Common giveaways tipping off counterfeit pairs:
-Clean cut materials are one of the most important things to look for with the Air Yeezy. Fake pairs will often have a sloppy-cut patent leather strap that comes across the mid-foot, and the patent leather is usually much duller than an authentic pair.
-Fake pairs, in most cases use thinner oval laces as appose to the thicker, denser oval laces of authentic pairs. Fake Zen's often have thinner, darker grey oval laces.
-Inconsistencies in paneling can give the sneaker a ‘disproportional’ look. This simply means something ‘just doesn’t look right’. Most counterfeit pairs are very boxy and broad in overall shape.
-The toe-box should have a gradual and smooth transition shape, and should not be boxy or broad. Everything should flow together and fit correctly together. Fake pairs often have a flatter, boxier toe-box. In just about every case with a fake pair, the paneling of the outer and inner toe-box do not fit together properly.

-The suede panel outlining the toe-box on fake 'Zen' Yeezy's is usually very, very dark. Authentic pairs have a lighter charcoal shade suede.
_______________________________________________________________________
1 - This is the smooth transition from the front midsole to the outer toe-box panel, to the inner toe-box panel that an authentic pair of Air Yeezy's have.
2 - The 'Y' print on the outer toe-box panel is inconsistent. This is found on both the Zen's and the Net/Net's. Its nothing abnormal, its all because of the production. This does, however, make fake pairs harder and harder to decipher. It's always better to ask if you have any doubts. JUST PM ME if you have ANY questions.
4 - The PL strap that comes across the laces panels and the tongue is imprinted with an all-over 'Y' print. You can see the imprint isn't too severe, and it is not imprinted into the leather; the imprint is light to show the texture of the contrasted 'Y' markings.
5 - Notice the curvature of the midsole. It is not too block-like. The midsole has the correct proportion to it, and is neatly cut to fit the proportion of the upper. The midsoles on all 3 Yeezy's have a flat paint context, no glossy paint was used on ANY production.
Again, here is a better shot of the tongue, lacelock, and PL strap.
This shot of the 'Zen's' gives you a better and clearer idea of the materials used on the sneaker, along with the ture colors of the inner liner and the tongue. Notice the depth/imprint of the 'Y' print.
I truly do hope this helps. If anyone has questions regarding any Air Yeezy Legit Check, or ANY Legit Check, just PM me.
