yall already knew id be back this season 
I feel pretty good about the team we have this season (Louisville) Not as talented as last year, but what do you expect? We lost 2 lottery picks from last season! But this years team looks like they have good chemistry and can shoot the ball. Looks like a real Pitino styled basketball team. So we will see what happens.
Some things I am wanting to see this season are...
- the John Wall hype. I dont think he will live up to it.
- I really cant wait to see Avery Bradley at Texas play. This article http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/columns/story?columnist=oneil_dana&id=4620472 made me a big fan of his.
- Who will be the surprise team this season? (much like Louisville and Wake Forest last season)

^ my opinion is biased, seeing as how Kentucky is my rival school, but I have seen all the Wall highlights, I have seen the allstar games and the one thing I have yet to see from him is a jumpshot. The guy can not shoot the ball! I ask Kentucky fans why is he so hyped up when he doesnt have a jumper? They tell me "why does he need to shoot the ball when he can get to the rim easily whenever he wants?"
Really? Yeah he got to the rim easily in high school against high school kids (did I mention his high school team went like 11-15? if hes the next big thing comin to the NBA dont you think he could atleast get his team to .500?) Okay back on topic.. he got to the rim easily in high school, and yes he did it as well in the all star games he played in, but who plays defense in all star games? NOBODY. I cant wait to see Wall go up against a good college zone defense. He wont be able to get to rim like everyone thinks. He will be forced to stay outside and shoot the ball and thats not his game.

I think Kentucky will go far, but I think it ends at the Elite 8 due to (the players') lack of experience - but that's one scary team.
tylerhundley brings up a good point about Wall - everyone knows the knock on his game was his jumper and in college you need to have that on lock. But in Cal's offense he could be getting to the hoop just as easy. I think if anything, his time at Kentucky (win or lose) will help improve his point guard skills and boost his stock. But that jumper needs work. Patterson, Cousins and Orton = tank of a frontline.
Don't sleep on 'Nova like a lotta people did last year. Solid recruiting class and they got most of their players back. Texas could be that team that sneaks into the Final Four where most people are probably expecting MSU, UNC, KU and Tucky. I think Georgia Tech has the potential to be a top 10 team and ESPN has them ranked at the bottom - they could be that sleeper team.
As much as I like Pretty (pause) Wilie Warren's game, I don't see them getting any further in the Dance. tylerhundley - what do you think of Peyton Siva? I'm hoping Samardo has a solid year.

I agree Nova will be a hell of a team. The one thing that worries me is who will replace Cunningham in the frontcourt? They have a very scary backcourt with Reynolds but their young guys need to step in a fill the gap Cunningham left. If they do, Nova will win the Big East this year.
Your an Oklahoma fan? I love watchin Warren play. But I dont think he can carry yall very far.
Siva is a monster! A lot of my UK buddies call him a smaller version of John Wall, but to me he is just like a young Aaron Brooks (they went to the same HS and everything) If Siva works on his jumper a little more then I think a lot of people will start to make the Brooks comparison. Siva has only played 2 exhibition games here and he is already climbing the list of one of my favorite UL players. He has the same energy and emotion that T-Will had. Here check this out. Sivas 2nd exhibition game, these two plays were #7 and #2 on sportscenters top 10 that night (#1 was the yankees winning the world series) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcTSV57NRS0 hes going to be very special here in the next year or two.
Samardo is our team right now. He lost weight this summer, he changed his number and looks like a different player out there. He is still playing below the rim to much, but I think he will have a breakout year. Along with Sosa and Preston Knowles.
Whats funny about UL is, I read an article on CBS and they asked 4 analyst who they thought was the most over rated team this season and 3 of the 4 said UL  how are we over rated when we are ranked 23rd lol but its cool, Pitino is a master motivator so you know he has this stuff posted all over the walls of the locker room. I cant wait for this season to start.
