Design-wise, it looks like a far cry from IV and V, which were really padded and armored. These shoes seem more like something from the Penny line.
Surprisingly, they look nice and sleek. I'm shocked there's no strap, as Nike's been HUGE on straps these last two years. Also, I'm wondering if these shoes have ankle stoppers... they don't look like they do.
Besides that, I hope the shoes offer good cushioning. It seems even more low to the ground than the V. If it's gonna feel like the ZKII, I'm gonna pass.
That said, I'll wait for these to hit the Outlets, like I did with the V. I'll cop for $80 or less. |

At first I thought this was another one of those April Fools posts (the Space Jams thread had me pissed).
The LeBron VI's seem to be the best of the two most successful LeBrons (the II's and the IV's). The upper seems to be made of foamposite, and the front part of the sole resembles the IV's too. But the back part of the midsole is modeled after the II's (and even the III's).
I hope Nike keeps the overall look of this sample, because they look great in this picture, and I would definitely cop them. _________________

I thought it was an April Fool's joke as well.
I don't know what to say about this shoe right now. Maybe more pics and pics of a different colorway will help me.
Just like what bigdad said, i'm surprised that there's no strap. |

| Too plain for my taste. Looks like any off the shelf hoop shoe. Hope this really is an April's Fools joke. |

| Looks kinda plain for a LeBron shoe...if it performs good outdoors it's a cop for me though. |

Those look pretty good. I would cop them, they do look like something from the penny line like someone else mentioned earlier. All the Lebrons usually seem like (II-V) they can take a beating. Those look alot lighter though. I love the V's though so maybe i'll enjoy these as well, had every pair of lebrons so far, used most of them for ball though instead of just rockin them _________________ www.Healthkicker.com - Live Healthier

looks a lot like a generic nike basketball shoe. i'd pass unless they make a colorway that will really catch my eye _________________

those are not too bad...they look a lot lighter than the past few brons..i am on the light..guard side so most of the brons III-V have been a little heavy for me unfortunately..love the two..these look like they can do!!! _________________ Penn State Alum |
