The second picture is just awkward and uninteresting. Maybe go back and shoot the graffiti from the side using a large aperture. The fence also could be a decent picture if you shot from the side, not head on. Again, lighting and perspective are two keys. Typically when the sun is high in the sky the light is unattractive. |
I beg to differ. I think that your motive for the 2nd shot was composed very well. Your choice of vantage point is different in comparison to what the "norm" would be (straight on the graffiti). | Perspective of the second photo would've been nicer if the photographer lowered the camera down a little more. Like Bana said, the two walls lead the viewers into the middle, where the vanishing point shows. A vertical composition could've worked here too because it looks like the focal length was wide enough. The shot could have been exposed better, though. |
er, the right wall is really overexposed I dont know how that can be helped.. Still, even if the norm was the grafitti, i think that would be a better picture than what was taken. _________________ FLICKR

I suppose clytn did a decent job in exposing the photo with the foreground still being somewhat visible and the background being not too overexposed, the photo is pretty much a dud anyways since the shadows are too harsh, etc. _________________ in.Focus 2.0 :: Powered by Nikon.

^^^ Vote for the one that says "Mile's is blushing" on it, too. It would be very much appreciated. _________________
