Definitely a program or application running that is causing the issues, because the PC works fine on Safe Mode. Try running a virus or 'ware checker. Also, you could try:
1. Start computer normally
2. Open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
3. Go to Processes tab
4. Check to see if any .exe files are unusual or taking up excess amounts of memory (This could help pinpoint the corrupted program/file) _________________ I'm a 90's kid !

if u can get to RUN .. type MSCONFIG and go to the startup tab.. maybe there is something in your startup that is making your computer freeze... unclick all the boxes there shouldnt really be anything u need running upon startup.. _________________ Tech Junkies

To add to that, running only the programs you need at start up will make your computer load soooooo much faster _________________ I'm a 90's kid !

I would go with an HP laptop or a Dell. These laptops are usually in an affordable price range usually with more than 2GB of memory and a 350+GB hard drive. That should be enough. I'd also recommend picking up a 250 or 300gb external hard drive to back up files for college. You'd be surprised with how fast you lose files. _________________

Start your computer and don't run any programs just yet. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and check the Processes Tab and check what processes are running. First check what's hogging up the most memory. Make sure there aren't any programs of the same name running multiple processes. _________________

Can't necessarily give you a link, but try PSPiso and go to the PC Applications thread. _________________ I'm a 90's kid !

I am in need of a new phone, but I already carry an mp3 player and a camera when I need it. I don't care for touchscreen but I'm still wondering if I need a full keyboard or not. Good and fast software is a must. gsm only. what should I buy? _________________ WANT 20% ALL YEAR AROUND WHEN YOU SHOP AT KARMALOOP?

Just to browse internet and to write papers and stuff. I dont plan on downloading games or anything of that sort but I probably do plan on downloading some basic programs like Itunes Limewire and along those lines.
On a different note, does anyone know how to download E-Books for free?! Please your help will be greatly appreciated. _________________ DMP VI 7.5-8
