I think the weather sealing is more important in dusty/sandy locations, but thats what ziplock bags are for. |
Hopefully nobody relies on just their camera to protect itself from weather. I wouldn't have it in that condition without a bag around it at least haha.

As much as I love the camera, I definitely don't need all the weatherproofing and ergonomics of it.
And it's a bitch to carry around -__-. So either d300 or d90 for me.

I'm a noob at this so take it easy.
Do u know if a d80 for 550 is a good deal?
Some guy in craigslist is selling it. And wants to meetup @ a local camera spot around town so I can get a second opinion. He claims he had it for about 2-3 years now and his wife bought a d200 that's why he's only selling the body because his wife would not give up any of her lenses and he hasn't used it since they bought the d200.
The d80 only comes w/ the body the manual and the strap. No lenses.
What do I check for when I meet him up? And is it worth my time and money?

2-3 Years is pretty old, i would ask him before hand about shutter life. Btw, wrong thread.
