Why bash him because he has a lot of expensive tees? If he likes them , let him buy them even if the funds are right for him ..
Let the kid buy what he likes . He obviously isn't old enough for a real good paying job but he gets the money . Stop hating . It makes you look petty

True. But who wouldn't be jealous of a 200 a month allowance?
Most people aren't upset of his choice of clothing, they're upset because the words "paid for it myself" has a different twisted meaning. For some reason people think it means receiving an allowance, going to the store with parents, and then handing over the money. When you earn something and work hard for it, props should be given. When stuff is handed to you, you don't deserve a celebration.
